Baseball Recap: Ferris Takes a Loss

Ferris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Union City Soaring Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Soaring Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 on Tuesday.

Ferris' defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Union City, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Ferris will take on Colonia at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Union City, they will challenge Ramsey at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Soaring Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
