            The Westosha Central Falcons are taking a road trip to  take on the Wilmot Panthers  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Wilmot took a loss in their last  match and will be looking to turn the tables on Westosha Central, who comes in off a win.
On Wednesday, Westosha Central was able to grind out a solid  win over Waterford, taking the game  7-2. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Falcons.

 Megan Lampos made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only  one  hit while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Haley Bies, who  went 1-for-2 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  two  runs gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Colbie LeQuesne, who  earned two  runs and two  stolen bases.
 Westosha Central  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least two batters  in three consecutive  contests.
 Meanwhile, Wilmot was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They lost  15-5 to Kenosha Tremper.
 Westosha Central pushed their record up to 10-7 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Wilmot, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.
 Westosha Central took their  victory against Wilmot  when the teams last played  on Tuesday by a conclusive  15-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
