The Lennard Longhorns will face off against the Strawberry Crest Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Lennard saw some tournament action on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Sumner 5-4.

Daniel DePaolo looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Luis Valentin - Ramos, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Samuel Nobrega was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Strawberry Crest never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against Alonso as Strawberry Crest made off with a 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.
Alonso's batters probably weren't too happy with Brisen Tweedy, who pitched a no hitter and racked up six Ks (he gave up a single walk). Tweedy has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Chase Conti was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with five RBI and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Nico Cappucci, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
Strawberry Crest's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7.7 runs. As for Lennard, their record is now 5-8.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Lennard has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Strawberry Crest struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Lennard couldn't quite finish off Strawberry Crest in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 and fell 3-1. Can Lennard avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
