Baseball Recap: Brownsburg Comes Up Short

Brownsburg managed to slip by Zionsville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 13-5 to the Eagles on Thursday.

Colin Jones was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That stolen base was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Bostic, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Brownsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Zionsville, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Brownsburg didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-4 loss against Avon on the 29th. As for Zionsville, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-5 victory against Franklin Central on the 29th.
