Hersey and Prospect are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Huskies will square off against the Knights at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Hersey came out on top against Wheeling on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Huskies were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Wildcats. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by eight runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Prospect got themselves on the board against Wheeling on Tuesday, but Wheeling never followed suit. They blew past the Wildcats 15-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Prospect pushed their record up to 17-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Hersey, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.

Hersey came up short against Prospect in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, falling 4-1. Can the Huskies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
