Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln County Lions vs. Stillwater Christian Cougars

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Lincoln County Lions take on the Stillwater Christian Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday... Lincoln County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Tuesday, Lincoln County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 59-55 to Stillwater Christian.

Stillwater Christian's win came from a few key players Lincoln County will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Micah Strobel, who posted 18 points in addition to six boards and five steals. Another player making a difference was Ryan Buzzard, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds.

The victory (which was Stillwater Christian's eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Lincoln County, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
