Baseball Recap: Stroud Tigers vs. Luther Lions
Stroud was the 11-1 winner over Luther when they last played one another back in March of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Stroud Tigers took a 14-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Luther Lions on Thursday. Stroud has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jessen Leathers and Stryker Bray stepped up to the plate in a big way. Leathers scored three runs while going 2-for-3, while Bray scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
Stroud's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Luther, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10.
Stroud has the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Canadian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Luther, they will head out on the road to square off against Rush Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
