Thomson and Johnson combined for 19 shots on goal on Tuesday, which explains the impressive 11 total goals scored. The Thomson Bulldogs were the clear victor by an 8-3 margin over the Johnson Panthers. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Johnson with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brianna Okpo (5), Kalynn Mabli (2), and Reese Smith.

The win was the fifth in a row for Thomson, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 41 goals over those five games. As for Johnson, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Thomson will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lincoln County at 5:30 p.m. on March 24th. As for Johnson, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 10-0 victory against Josey on the 13th.
