Baseball Recap: Valor Preparatory Academy Comes Up Short

Valor Preparatory Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the St. Paul Cardinals, falling 19-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-2 on Friday.

Connor McFarling was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Valor Preparatory Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for St. Paul, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-10.

Valor Preparatory Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Paul, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Fayetteville at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th.
