Volleyball Recap: Immanuel's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Immanuel came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Selma Bears. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Immanuel was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-14.

Bennett Cords paced Immanuel's offense, picking up 16 kills. Cords got some help from Jackson Lloyd and his 39 assists. Cords was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Immanuel's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Selma, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the loss, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Immanuel didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Reedley on the 8th. As for Selma, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Fresno Christian on the 8th.
