Volleyball Recap: Waldron Takes a Loss

Waldron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Greenfield-Central Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mohawks of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 25-16.

Waldron's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Greenfield-Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Waldron will challenge Jac-Cen-Del at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenfield-Central, they will square off against Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
