Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Midway walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Flower Mound Jaguars 7-6. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 6-0 victory on Friday.

Midway has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 23 of their last 24 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Flower Mound, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 25-9-1.

Looking ahead, Midway will face off against Clear Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Chargers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. Flower Mound does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
