Soccer Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 5-2 to the Powers Catholic Chargers. Central were not able to make up for their defeat to Powers Catholic from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Central now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Powers Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3-2.

Coming up, Central will be playing at home against Bay City Western at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Powers Catholic, they will face off against Eaton Rapids at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
