Softball Recap: Navajo Prep Takes a Loss

Navajo Prep's last matchup with Rehoboth Christian could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Tuesday. The Eagles lost 18-10 to the Lynx. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Lynx: they've now lost three in a row.

Isabella Yazzie made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Amia Salazar, who scored a run and stole a base while going 4-for-4.

Navajo Prep's record now sits at 9-5. As for Rehoboth Christian, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5.

While Navajo Prep had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
