Volleyball Recap: Plateau Valley Victorious

Plateau Valley won the last time they faced West Grand and things went their way on Friday too. The Cowboys came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cowboys.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 20-25, 25-17, 25-14.

Among those leading the charge was Lexi Taylor, who had four digs and three aces. What's more, she racked up 15 assists, the most she's had since back in August.

Plateau Valley's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for West Grand, they moved to 11-2 with that defeat, which also ended their 11-match winning streak.

Plateau Valley and West Grand should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. The Cowboys will face off against Hayden at 6:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (88 vs. 294). Meanwhile, West Grand (ranked 120th) will meet Rangely (ranked 254th) at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
