Brentwood entered their tilt with Summit on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Spartans. That's more bragging rights for the Bruins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Brentwood had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-19, 25-19, 25-20.

Eliza McKnight paced Brentwood's offense, picking up 22 kills. McKnight got some help from Lindsey Large and her 21 assists. Sela Baldwin controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the loss, Summit still got an impressive performance from Tessa Rowe, who had 12 digs.

Brentwood's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Summit, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Brentwood has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against St. Henry on the 22nd. As for Summit, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Gibbs on the 22nd.
