Baseball Recap: Lebanon Comes Up Short

Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Frankfort Hot Dogs, falling 10-1. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly nine runs.

Lebanon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jamil Phillippe, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Phillippe also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Frankfort, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, Lebanon will take on Clinton Central in a tournament on Saturday. As for Frankfort, they will face off against Kokomo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
