They were dealt a 60-10 defeat at the hands of the Big Bay de Noc Black Bears. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 675th, while the Black Bears are ranked 271st).

Mid Peninsula's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Big Bay de Noc, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.

Mid Peninsula has already played their next match (against Engadine), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Big Bay de Noc, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-19 win against Nah Tah Wahsh on the 15th.
