Baseball Game Preview: Westminster Lions vs. Garden Grove Argonauts

For the second straight game, Westminster will face off against Garden Grove. The Lions will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Argonauts at 3:15 p.m. Westminster has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with four straight losses, while Garden Grove will come in with three straight wins.

Westminster made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Garden Grove, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lions fell just short of the Argonauts by a score of 5-3 on Tuesday.

Josh Duffey was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Nathan Bernal, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Garden Grove's victory bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Westminster, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11-1.
