Volleyball Recap: Brazos Beats Navasota for Their Third Straight Win

Brazos waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Navasota Rattlers. The Cougars not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 29th (when they won 3-0).

Brazos never let Navasota on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 25-20.

Brazos' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kendall Macha, who had 16 digs and seven assists. Those seven assists gave Macha a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Blair Warren, who had 26 assists and ten digs.

Brazos' win bumped their record up to 17-13. As for Navasota, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-8.

Coming up, Brazos will welcome Ganado at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Navasota, they will head out on the road to face off against Bremond at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
