Soccer Game Preview: Carlsbad vs. Roswell + How To Watch

The Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls will face off against the Roswell Coyotes at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Carlsbad's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, it was close, but Carlsbad sidestepped Clovis for a 2-1 victory.

Meanwhile, Roswell faced Hobbs in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Coyotes lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for Roswell in their meetings with Hobbs: they've now lost eight in a row.

Carlsbad picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-9-3. As for Roswell, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Carlsbad came up short against Roswell when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Cavemen/Cavegirls avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
