Volleyball Recap: Byram Hills' Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Byram Hills had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Somers Tuskers. This was payback for the Bobcats, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Byram Hills wouldn't go down easily and took Somers into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-13, 25-10, 16-25, 17-15.

Byram Hills' win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Somers, with the loss, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 11-3-1.

Coming up, Byram Hills will head out to square off against John Jay at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Somers, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Yorktown on the 18th.
