Basketball Game Preview: South Cobb Eagles vs. Harrison Hoyas

South Cobb is 0-9 against Harrison since November of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The South Cobb Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Harrison Hoyas at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, it was close, but South Cobb sidestepped Osborne for a 37-35 win.

Meanwhile, Harrison had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 46-38. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Hoyas' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Spartans are ranked 12th).

South Cobb's record now sits at 3-5. As for Harrison, their record now sits at 7-2.

South Cobb was taken down by Harrison 75-36 when the teams last played back in February of 2020. Can South Cobb avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
