Softball Preview: Coudersport Falcons vs. Galeton Tigers
Coudersport is 9-1 against Galeton since April of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Coudersport Falcons will head out on the road to take on the Galeton Tigers at 4:30 p.m.
Last Friday, Coudersport came up short against Northern Potter and fell 10-6.
Meanwhile, Galeton had to endure a five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Port Allegany two weeks ago as Galeton made off with a 20-8 win.
Coudersport dropped their record down to 1-1 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Galeton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
Coudersport came out on top in a nail-biter against Galeton when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 21-19. The rematch might be a little tougher for Coudersport since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
