Volleyball Recap: Sahuaro Takes a Loss

Sahuaro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Canyon del Oro Dorados. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Canyon del Oro found their leader in freshman Parker Frye, who had five aces.

Sahuaro's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Canyon del Oro, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Sahuaro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Flowing Wells on the 29th. As for Canyon del Oro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Mountain View on the 29th.
