Joplin came out on top against Kickapoo on Friday thanks in part to Daniel Rose's efforts. Rose rushed for 35 yards and a pair of scores, which was good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing touchdowns.

Coming up, Rose and Joplin will take on Nixa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Joplin had to take a loss when they last met Nixa, but Rose had little to do with the loss: he threw for 196 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 32 yards.
