Basketball Recap: Dobson Mustangs vs. Westwood Warriors
The Dobson Mustangs won the last time they faced the Westwood Warriors, and things went their way on Friday too. Dobson managed a 48-44 victory over the Warriors. Given Dobson's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Warriors are ranked 212th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dobson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anthony Bolton, who scored 19 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bolton has scored all season. Patrick Donaldson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Dobson and bumps their season record up to 12-11. As for Westwood, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-20.
Dobson will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mountain Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Westwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
