After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Elida, Jefferson was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers with a sharp 17-0 victory. The Wildcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Jefferson got a massive performance out of Dean Trentman, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with four runs, one double, and one RBI.
