SAND SPRINGS, Okla. - Union (Tulsa, Okla.) beat Page (Sand Springs, Okla.) 63-6 on the strength of Mason Farquhar, who tossed four touchdown passes.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Tyler Adkins in the first quarter, the Redskins led 49-0 at the half.

Union grew its lead to 50 points entering the fourth quarter. UHS scored once in the quarter on a Farquhar touchdown pass to Jeffery Mead.

Farquhar and Mead teamed up to form a dynamic passing combination. Mead caught three touchdowns and Farquhar threw four. Mead has now caught three touchdowns this season, while Farquhar has thrown 12.



Union's most effective player was Farquhar. The junior quarterback threw four touchdowns. He has now scored five touchdowns on the season.

Page's only touchdown came on a 10-yard pass in the third quarter.

The Redskins came in allowing an average of 20.0 points per game this season.

A 59-7 Union victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.

The defeat comes as a step back for Page, who notched a 57-7 victory over Ponca City in its previous outing.

In a 6A District 1 game next week Page (3-4) takes on Stillwater, and Union (5-2) will go up against Bartlesville also in a 6A District 1 game.
