Football Game Preview: Fort Myers Green Wave vs. Bonita Springs Bullsharks

The Fort Myers Green Wave are taking a road trip to take on the Bonita Springs Bullsharks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Fort Myers nor Bonita Springs posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

While Green Wave fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Friday's season opener. They managed a 12-7 win over Ida Baker on Friday.

Meanwhile, Bonita Springs owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They snuck past Estero with a 6-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bullsharks.

Fort Myers was able to grind out a solid win over Bonita Springs in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 14-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fort Myers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
