Baseball Recap: Barnstable Comes Up Short

Barnstable was the 8-1 winner over Dennis-Yarmouth Regional when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Hawks came up short against the Dolphins on Wednesday, falling 17-7. The Red Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Barnstable now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Dennis-Yarmouth Regional, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Barnstable will be playing in front of their home fans against Martha's Vineyard Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dennis-Yarmouth Regional, they will venture away from home to face off against Nauset Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Dolphins' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
