Volleyball Recap: Pelham Comes Up Short

Pelham lost against Hazel Green back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Trojans.

Aubrie Smith paced Pelham's offense, picking up nine kills. Smith got some help from Bristol Hannah and her ten assists. Smith was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Pelham's defeat dropped their record down to 11-19. As for Hazel Green, their win bumped their record up to 24-7.

Coming up, Pelham will head out on the road to face off against Chelsea at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hazel Green, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lee at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
