Softball Preview: Central Cambria Red Devils vs. Susquenita Blackhawks
The Central Cambria Red Devils will take on the Susquenita Blackhawks at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Susquenita will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Central Cambria extended their winning streak to four on Wednesday. The Red Devils never let Greater Johnstown get on the board and left with a 15-0 win.
Rowyn Ruddek made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Ruddek was even better at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.
