Soccer Recap: The Village School of Naples Comes Up Short

The Village School of Naples was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to the Marco Island Academy Rays. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 back in November of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Christian Horvath, who's now up to two this season.

The Village School of Naples' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Marco Island Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Village School of Naples will square off against Mason Classical Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marco Island Academy, they will challenge Community School of Naples at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
