 North Haven waltzed into their game  on Wednesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on the East Haven Yellowjackets with a sharp  14-2 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for North Haven considering their two-run performance the  match before.
  Gabriella Blanchard made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  struck out eight batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits. Blanchard was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs.
 In other batting news, North Haven let  Alyssa Ferriouolo and  Alexandra Anquillare loose on the outfield. Ferriouolo  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while  Anquillare  went 2-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alyssa DiGiovanna, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 North Haven pushed their record up to 8-1 with that  win, which was their 16th straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for East Haven,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-2.
 North Haven will head out on the road to  square off against  Law at 3:45  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams will come into the  matchup having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes. As for East Haven, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against West Haven at 4:00  p.m. East Haven is facing West Haven at the right time seeing as West Haven is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
