Soccer Recap: Taylor County Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Taylor County and Episcopal School of Jacksonville squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Taylor County had to settle for second. They lost 5-0 to the Episcopal School of Jacksonville Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 388th, while the Eagles are ranked 128th).

This is the second loss in a row for Taylor County and nudges their season record down to 10-9-3. As for Episcopal School of Jacksonville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-2-4.

Taylor County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Episcopal School of Jacksonville, they will challenge Williston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
