Volleyball Game Preview: Virgin Valley Bulldogs vs. The Meadows School Mustangs

Virgin Valley hasn't had much luck against The Meadows School recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Virgin Valley made easy work of Boulder City and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Virgin Valley's got stronger as the match went on, holding Boulder City to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 25-14.

Mahttie Mulitalo was the offensive standout of the match as she had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September. Brinley Cunningham also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Meanwhile, The Meadows School was able to grind out a solid victory over Moapa Valley on Monday, taking the game 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 23-25, 25-15, 25-18.

Virgin Valley's record now sits at 18-10. As for The Meadows School, their record is now 19-5.
