Soccer Recap: King Plays to a Tie

King saw some tournament action on Friday. They and the Redlands East Valley Wildcats finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Juan Mateo Lopez and Joseph Castillo-Lopez scored both of King's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

King's draw gives them a new season record of 5-4-2. Meanwhile, Redlands East Valley's record is now 6-1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King will have to wait a while for a more definitive result, as their next game is a ways away: they'll take on Corona at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Redlands East Valley, they will challenge Ramona on Friday.
