Baseball Recap: Idea Academy Titans vs. Hebbronville Longhorns
Idea Academy extended their losing streak to six on Tuesday, dropping them down to 1-6. They came up short against the Hebbronville Longhorns, falling 19-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 back in March.
As for Hebbronville, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 20-7. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matchups by seven runs or more this season.
For Hebbronville's part, Eduardo Trevino was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts Trevino has posted since back in May of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
In other batting news, Hebbronville got a massive performance out of Chase Moore, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most doubles Moore has posted since back in February of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Ilias Perez, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Hebbronville is set to challenge their familiar foe Falfurrias at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Longhorns 2.3, the Bulls 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
