Basketball Recap: Dunsmuir's Losing Streak Snapped at Eight Games

There's no place like home for Dunsmuir, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the Butte Valley Bulldogs 61-38 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Dunsmuir's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michael Kellar, who posted 20 points. The matchup was Kellar's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Jon Schneider was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Despite the loss, Butte Valley still got an impressive performance from Hunter Stevenson, who earned 15 points.

Dunsmuir's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-9. As for Butte Valley, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
