Basketball Recap: Dunbar Comes Up Short

Dunbar played a tough contest on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the St. Francis DeSales Stallions 68-36. The Wolverines were down 64-29 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the loss, Dunbar still got an impressive performance from Donisha Davis, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Davis is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 25 games she's played dating back to last season.

Dunbar's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for St. Francis DeSales, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Dunbar wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-36 victory against Thurgood Marshall on the 8th. As for St. Francis DeSales, they have also already played their next game, a 53-24 win against Northland on the 8th.
