Volleyball Recap: Monday's Victory Is Richland's Eighth in Last Nine Outings + How To Watch

Richland barely beat Windber the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rams were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ramblers on Monday. The Rams not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9th (when they won 3-0).

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-12, 25-12.

Kiya Wise paced Richland's offense, picking up 12 kills. Wise got some help from Brooklyn Roberts and her 21 assists. Roberts was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Richland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2-2 record this season. As for Windber, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richland will take on Westmont Hilltop at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last five games the Hilltoppers have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Windber, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Berlin Brothersvalley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
