Volleyball Recap: Lodi Academy Starts Season with Win at Home

Lodi Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Millennium Falcons. The win was nothing new for the Titans as they're now sitting on four straight dating back to last season.

Lodi Academy was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 24-26, 25-15, 25-23.

Ty Zinke paced Lodi Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Zinke really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with eight. He was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Lodi Academy will head out on the road to square off against Venture Academy at 5:00 p.m. on March 10th. Millennium will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on River Islands at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th.
