Football Recap: Salome Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Joseph City last Friday, Salome came back down to earth. The Frogs were outmatched by the Hayden Lobos and fell 52-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Frogs in their meetings with the Lobos: they've now lost four in a row.

Hayden had a senior duo take command as Tyler Garner rushed for 191 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries and Kino Lorona rushed for 182 yards and three TDs on only eight carries. Lorona has been hot for a while, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last ten times he's played.

Salome's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Hayden, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Salome will take on Fort Thomas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hayden, they will face off against Joseph City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
