It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Las Vegas had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against the Sandia Prep Sundevils by a score of 59-51. This was a revenge game for the Dons: when they faced off against the Sundevils back in December of 2024, they had to take a 59-50 loss.

West Las Vegas is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Sandia Prep and nudges their season record down to 15-14.

Coming up, West Las Vegas will square off against Robertson at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Robertson will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something West Las Vegas surely won't give up without a fight. Sandia Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
