Volleyball Recap: Winner's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

Winner and Wagner squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Winner had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Red Raiders. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Raiders earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Livvy Audiss paced Winner's offense, picking up 15 kills. Audiss got some help from Gracie Root and her 26 assists. Root was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

With the loss, Winner broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 25-7. As for Wagner, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season.

Winner does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wagner, after both having extra time off, they and Dakota Valley will shake off the rust and duke it out at 11:00 a.m. on the 20th.
