Softball Recap: Lower Lake Trojans vs. Cloverdale Eagles
After flying high against Upper Lake last Friday, Lower Lake came back down to earth. The Trojans took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cloverdale Eagles on Friday. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Mariah Bal spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and six unearned) runs on two hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
