Baseball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to the Timberline Blazers.

Lincoln saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jose Guzman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Guzman's first of the season.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Timberline, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will square off against Mount Tahoma at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mount Tahoma has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.67 runs per game on average), something Lincoln will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Timberline, they will challenge North Thurston at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
