Recap: Hilliard Davidson Wildcats vs. Hilliard Darby Panthers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Upper Arlington, the Hilliard Davidson Wildcats were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They came out on top against Hilliard Darby by a score of 37-29. This was payback for Hilliard Davidson, who suffered a 38-32 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Hilliard Davidson can attribute much of their success to Yuli Dowell, who scored 14 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Dowell has scored at least 25% of Hilliard Davidson's points. Abby Starr was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Hilliard Davidson's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Hilliard Darby, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Hilliard Davidson will head out on the road to face off against Olentangy Orange at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hilliard Darby, they will play host again and welcome Marysville, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
