Softball Recap: Shawnee Renegades vs. Paul VI Eagles
Shawnee lost a close one when they played last Thursday but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on Tuesday was a bit more commanding. They lost 10-1 to the Paul VI Eagles. Shawnee has not had much luck with Paul VI recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
For Paul VI's part, Ava Nevius looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
At the plate, Paul VI got a massive performance out of Camryn Harry, who fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3. Morgan Chambers was another key contributor, firing off two home runs while going 3-for-4.
Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Paul VI, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-8.
Shawnee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Paul VI, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Seneca at 4:00 p.m.
